EUROPRESS 2001

The EUROPRESS 2001 is a powerful, automatic, and highly manageable portable electric press designed for professional pipe pressing applications. Engineered for reliability and precision, this tool enables secure and durable press connections across a wide range of pressfitting systems available on the market. Thanks to its universal compatibility, commercially available pressing tongs adapt perfectly to the EUROPRESS 2001, making it a flexible and future-proof solution for installers and technicians.

At the core of the machine is a robust aluminium hydraulic pump body, combining strength with reduced weight for optimal handling on-site. The integrated double-insulated motor (IEC standard) operates at 230V – 50/60Hz – 600W – 2.6A with 600 rpm, ensuring consistent and powerful performance. Alternative motor versions in 110V or 48V are available upon request, allowing adaptation to specific site requirements.

Designed for maximum practicality, the housing head of the pressing tongs rotates 360°, enabling effortless operation even in confined or difficult-to-access spaces. This feature significantly improves ergonomics and efficiency during installation work. The newly developed tong clamping pin further enhances operational safety and stability during pressing cycles.

The hardened steel pressing tongs guarantee long service life and precise force transmission. With a machine weight of approximately 5.8 kg, the EUROPRESS 2001 achieves an excellent balance between power and portability, ensuring comfortable handling without compromising performance.

For additional operational flexibility, the machine can be used in a vertical working position with the optional support rod. This expands its application range, especially in structured installation environments.

To maintain long-term precision, the EP-Control instrument is available for verifying the perfect calibration of the press. This ensures consistent pressing quality and compliance with technical standards over time.

Available Expander Bushings / Expander Sleeves

Expander bushings are precision components used in press-fitting and expansion systems to prepare copper pipes for assembly. They are designed to expand the end of the pipe in a controlled manner, enabling fittings to be inserted without damaging the material. This expansion process ensures a precise and reliable connection when the fitting is pressed into place.

These expander bushings are manufactured for use with annealed copper pipes with a wall thickness of 1 mm, and are available in both metric and Whitworth dimensions. The range of sizes ensures compatibility with a wide variety of pipe diameters used in plumbing, heating and refrigeration installations.

During operation, the expander tool presses the bushing into the pipe end, temporarily enlarging the diameter of the pipe. This controlled expansion creates the necessary clearance for the fitting while maintaining the pipe's structural integrity. Once the fitting has been inserted and the pressing process completed, the system forms a tight, durable connection.

Expander bushings are typically made from high-strength, wear-resistant materials to withstand repeated expansion cycles and ensure a long service life in professional installation environments. Their precise geometry guarantees consistent expansion results and reliable compatibility with common press fittings and expansion tools.
