SSVH EKPS at a glance
The EKPS works like the EKPI.A, but without a built-in pump: it is supplied by a separate hand or motor pump and can therefore be operated from a distance. It pushes and pulls in any position with 10, 25 or 50 tonnes. According to SSVH, it is intended, like the EKPI, for welding, assembly and straightening work.
As differential cylinders they deliver an equivalent force in both directions; the table gives the pressure needed for the rated force when pushing and when pulling. The smooth piston is treated against seizing and corrosion and sealed with a wiper, and both oil inlets are 3/8 NPT female. For the supply SSVH names its BHC hand pump or a motor pump. Flat push head, pulling ring and female clevis are removable; other strokes, special attachments and pins for the clevis are available on request.
