The CBC 620/E at a glance

The CBC 620/E cuts threads on metal pipes and bars ranging from 2″ to 6″ GAS, which is the largest size range among CBC's threading machines. Its rotating head turns in both directions, and the die head bore is 170 mm. The thread length is unlimited.

A self-centering vice on cylindrical guides holds the workpiece and feeds it into the die head with a 250 mm stroke. A two-speed, three-phase motor (400 V, 3/2.2 kW) drives the self-opening die head at nine revolutions per minute (rpm). Lubricant and coolant circulate in a closed circuit from the built-in tank. A control panel and protective screen are also included.

Version 9400215.2, the complete version, includes BSPT right-hand chasers for 2–4" and 4.5–6" pipes. CBC also supplies a five-liter can of threading oil. The machine is also available without chasers as model 9400210.2. It weighs 430 kg (948 lbs) and is 1150 mm (45.3 in) high on its trolley.
