The CBC JUNIOR 250 at a glance
The JUNIOR 250 is designed for large diameters. It can weld pipes and fittings made of PB, PE, PP, and PVDF ranging from 75 mm to 250 mm in diameter and with a pressure rating of PN 2.5 to 4. For higher pressure ratings, the maximum diameter decreases to 200 mm at PN 6, 140 mm at PN 10, and 125 mm at PN 16.
The equipment is correspondingly stronger. The PS 250 TR heating plate delivers 1,300 watts and can be set up to 300°C. The facing mill has a 600-watt motor with variable speed from 0 to 300 rpm. The machine measures 700 × 600 × 1450 mm and weighs 81 kg.
As with the BABY models, steel clamps with quick closing, adjustable clamping pressure, and interchangeable segments hold the workpieces. Their support swivels in 15° increments up to 30°. The heating plate and mill slide on the same chrome-plated steel guide with ball bushings. The rack and handwheel move the carriage and load the pressure spring. A tubular frame with an accessory drawer and segments for 75-250 mm in a metal case are included.
