The UNI 63 with mandrel at a glance
The CBC UNI 63 with mandrel kit is a three-phase, digitally controlled machine for delicate and thin-walled pipes: optimum, constant radii keep the bent pipes free of deformation, down to a minimum radius of twice the outside diameter. It corresponds to the earlier CBC UNI 30 SPEED for bending with mandrel.
A 1.50 HP motor (400 V) drives the spheroidal cast iron machine on its steel base frame, and the multilingual touchscreen control stores 50 programs with up to 9 bending angles each. The mandrel kit comes with the machine: pipe clamping device, mandrel extraction device, plane regulator, stops, base for the sliding counterformer with anti-wrinkle support and a mandrel rod of Ø 20 mm. Its length of 1 to 6 m defines the usable length of 0.55 to 5.55 m.

Mandrel kit lengths of the UNI 63
Every version of the UNI 63 includes the complete mandrel kit; only the kit length differs. The longer the kit, the further from the pipe end a bend can be made.

Bending capacity of the UNI 63 with mandrel
With mandrel, the UNI 63 bends hard and soft copper as well as annealed brass up to 35 × 3 mm, stainless steel AISI 304/316 up to 30 × 2 mm and furniture tubes up to 35 × 2 mm; gas pipes are possible up to 1".
Minimum bending radius: 2 × pipe outside diameter.
