The UNI 70/C with mandrel at a glance
The CBC UNI 70/C can bend thin-walled and delicate pipes without flattening them when equipped with the mandrel kit. A mandrel inside the pipe supports the wall during bending and allows radii down to twice the outside diameter. The machine processes copper and aluminum pipes up to 50 mm and stainless steel pipes up to 50.8 mm with a mandrel.
The kit is available in lengths ranging from 2 to 6 meters and includes a pipe clamping device, mandrel extraction device, level regulator, stops, base for the sliding counterformer with anti-wrinkle support, and a 20 mm mandrel rod. The machine itself has a spheroidal cast iron body, a self-braking, two-speed motor (1.5/2.2 kW, 380 V), and a touchscreen that controls up to 50 programs, each with up to nine bending angles.

Mandrel kit lengths
The version is chosen based on the length of the mandrel kit. The usable length determines how far from the end of the pipe the bends can be placed.

Bending capacity with mandrel
The UNI 70/C can bend copper, furniture, boiler, and aluminum pipes up to 50 mm; stainless steel pipes up to 50.8 x 3 mm; and square tubes up to 40 x 40 mm with a mandrel. The minimum bending radius is twice the outside diameter of the pipe.
