The UNI 90 at a glance
The CBC UNI 90 can bend mandrels up to 90 mm for copper, steel conduit, hydraulic, furniture, boiler, and aluminum pipes; stainless steel pipes up to 80 mm; 3" gas pipes; and square tubes up to 70 x 70 mm. All of these can be bent with radii down to twice the diameter. Its constant radii leave thin and delicate pipes undamaged, a feature that is highly valued in plumbing, shipbuilding, oil hydraulics, industry, and ornamental metalwork.
Weighing 970 kg and measuring 1,100 x 700 x 1,310 mm (machine only), the UNI 90 is built on a spheroidal cast iron body with a steel base. Its self-braking, two-speed, three-phase motor provides 4 kW via an inverter (380 V/50 Hz). Clamping and bending tools open and close under computerized hydraulic control. Mandrel extraction is programmable, and the machine automatically returns once the bend is complete. Up to 50 programs of nine angles each can be stored.
The standard version of the mandrel kit includes a hydraulic mandrel extraction system, a plane regulator, stops, and a 20 mm mandrel rod. It is also available in 4-, 5-, and 6-meter versions. The machine includes two interchangeable output shafts and a mechanical positioning spindle for the bending plane.

Choosing the mandrel for the UNI 90
The CBC mandrel that fits depends on the radius and wall. Each one is made for a single pipe size.

Mandrel kit lengths of the UNI 90
There are four kit lengths available for the UNI 90. With a 3-meter kit, the usable length is 2.55 meters. With a 6-meter kit, the usable length is 5.55 meters.

Bending capacity of the UNI 90 with mandrel
Using a mandrel, the UNI 90 can bend copper, steel conduit, hydraulic, furniture, boiler, and aluminum pipes up to 90 mm, as well as stainless steel pipes up to 80 x 3 mm. It can bend gas pipes up to 3″ with a 3 mm wall and square tubes up to 70 x 70 x 3 mm. The wall thickness is 4 mm for aluminum and 3 mm for copper and hydraulic pipes.
Minimum bending radius: 2 x pipe outside diameter.
