The UNI 120 at a glance
The CBC UNI 120 is the next model in the UNI series after the UNI 89. Without a mandrel, it bends copper and aluminum pipes with an outside diameter of up to 139.7 mm, as well as steel conduit, stainless steel (AISI 304/308/316), hydraulic, furniture, and boiler pipes with an outside diameter of up to 114.3 mm. It can also bend gas pipes up to 4″ with a wall thickness of up to 8 mm and square tubes with dimensions of up to 90 x 90 x 10 mm. Its optimal bending radii prevent deformation in large pipes for use in plumbing, shipbuilding, oil hydraulics, and plant engineering.
An asynchronous 7.8 kW motor with an inverter and two speeds powers the machine, and an electric brake stops it precisely. The spheroidal cast iron body stands on a steel base, and the complete machine weighs 1,750 kg. The operator works at a console with a 24-volt control panel. The multilingual touchscreen sets and monitors the bending angle, compensates for springback and stores up to 50 programs, each with up to nine sequential angles.
The standard version includes the quick guide positioning device, console, three interchangeable shafts, reinforcement tie rod, counterformer support reduction, and base. CBC makes the tooling for the large diameters of the UNI 120 to order. This includes type C formers above Ø 90 up to 114.3 mm. It also includes type E formers above 3″1/2 up to 4″1/2. And it includes type L formers for gas pipes above 3″1/2 up to 4″. CBC also offers bronze counterformers and counter rollers. Please ask us for the size you need.

Bending capacity of the UNI 120
Copper and aluminum pipes reach up to 139.7 mm on the UNI 120; all other listed metal pipes reach up to 114.3 mm. The wall thickness may be up to 10 mm for furniture tubes, 9 mm for aluminum, 8 mm for copper, steel conduit, hydraulic and boiler pipes, and 6 mm for stainless steel. Gas pipes up to 4 inches in diameter are bent with an 8 mm wall thickness.
Maximum bending angle: 180° plus springback compensation, without mandrel.
Standard bending radii: 3D and 4D.
