Large formers for the UNI 60 to UNI 89

From Ø 45 mm, 1″3/4 and 1″1/2 GAS, CBC makes its ductile iron formers for particular machine groups: the same size is available for the UNI 60 only, for the UNI 60, 70/C, 76 and 89, or for the UNI 70/C, 76 and 89. Formers from Ø 63 mm and 2″1/2 fit the UNI 76 and 89, the sizes Ø 80 to 90 mm, 3″1/4 and 3″1/2 only the UNI 89. Choose the size and your machine group; the tables list the code of every former.

Like the smaller formers of type C, E and L, they are made of spheroidal graphite iron, come with ring and bend hard brass, steel, stainless steel, bonderized and titanium tubes without a mandrel – with a counterformer for walls of 1–2.5 mm and with counter rollers from 2.5 mm. On the UNI 60 and UNI 70/C, CBC uses the reinforcement tie rod for stainless steel pipes over Ø 33 mm and other pipes over Ø 42 mm.

For copper pipes Ø 54 mm, CBC lists two formers of its own (R 162 and R 200 mm) for the UNI 60 and UNI 70/C. The former 0001102 serves both 3″ pipes and 2″1/2 gas pipes, as does 0001109 with R 292 mm.
