SSVH SR at a glance

SSVH describes the SR range as its all-round single-acting cylinder: it combines a guide ring with a full-load stop and a return spring. The cylinders are used for lifting and pushing as well as in special machines. Nine sizes from 9 to 160 tonnes are available with strokes of 40 to 220 mm, so a suitable combination of force and stroke can be chosen for most jobs.

In the L version the piston is smooth; in the S version it is threaded and carries a safety nut that secures the load mechanically in position. The cylinder collar has an external thread (F), the base has four threaded fixing holes (E), and the oil enters through a 3/8 NPT port. The same sizes are available in light alloy as the SR.A, which weighs considerably less.
