The Amica 3 at a glance
The Amica 3 is a lever-operated pipe bender designed for pipes taken from coils, including bare annealed copper, copper with PVC sheathing or another soft coating, and multilayer pipes with special forms. It operates without oil or gears. Unlike older benders with rack and pinion, the piston advances continuously, as on hydraulic benders, rather than in fixed steps.
If the bender loses force, the manufacturer recommends one adjustment: remove the stop screw and turn the adjusting screw in by about one turn. The three versions differ in their forms. The Amica 3 BIG can bend multilayer pipes with diameters of 26 and 32 mm and comes with an additional counterform plate.
