The OB/85S+ at a glance
The CBC OB/85S+ is a hand pipe bender equipped by CBC for oil-hydraulic systems (CBC designation: OB/85S Oleodinamica). It can bend stainless steel and bonderized steel pipes from 6 to 18 mm, as well as annealed and semi-hard copper pipes up to 22 mm.
The set includes up to ten die-cast aluminum formers ranging from 6 to 22 mm, or seven inch-size formers, depending on the version. It also includes three quick-coupling counterformers made of galvanized steel; two of these are reinforced (14–17 and 18–22). The die-cast aluminum and stainless steel hand-operated pump body has a double hydraulic circuit, and a plastic carrying case is included.

Standard versions of the OB/85S+
The three versions are identical in terms of the pump body, the three counterformers, and the case. The only difference is in the formers. Version A also covers small diameters of 6 and 8 mm.

The 16 mm former of the OB/85S+ has a radius of 63 mm; the standard OB/85S former for 16 mm has 49 mm.
Bending capacity of the OB/85S+
The OB/85S+ is designed for use with the pipe materials found in oil-hydraulic systems, including annealed stainless steel up to 18 x 1.2 mm and bonderized steel up to 18 x 2 mm. It can bend annealed and semi-hard copper pipes up to 22 x 1 mm.
