The P/22A at a glance
The CBC P/22A is a mechanical portable pipe bender that operates entirely without hydraulics. CBC describes it as the lightest and fastest tool of its kind. The high-strength, light alloy die-cast block weighs only 1.15 kg, and the operating lever is made of die-cast brass.
The P/22A uses the same die-cast aluminum formers and quick-coupling steel counterformers as the hydraulic OB/85S. Therefore, it can bend annealed copper pipes up to 22 mm and multilayer pipes up to 32 mm. Six standard versions (A–F) come in a practical carrying case.

Standard versions of the P/22A
Versions P/22A carry the same letters and former sets as versions A–F of the OB/85S. Versions A–E are packed in cases for 10–26 mm and version F is packed in cases for 10–32 mm.

Bending capacity of the P/22A
The P/22A bends annealed copper pipes up to 22 x 1 mm and multilayer pipes up to 32 x 3 mm. The hydraulic OB/85S is the right choice for copper pipes with walls up to 1.5 mm.
