The CBC KSM screed heaters at a glance
The KSM screed heaters produce hot water at low and high temperatures. The heat output of the KSM 9 can be adjusted from 1 to 9 kW, that of the KSM 15 from 1 to 15 kW. Both run on 400 V (3P + N + PE) or – with the included 230 V cable kit – on 230 V: the KSM 9 then delivers up to 6 kW, the KSM 15 up to 5 kW.
The control panel has an LCD display for programming and setting the temperature (constant 0 to 85 °C) and a customisable PIN against unauthorised use, plus an emergency stop with manual reset and an on/off switch. A circulation pump, PT 100 temperature probe, pressure gauge and thermometer, safety valve (3 bar), safety thermostat (90 °C ± 5 K), 8 l expansion vessel, fill and drain tap, ball valves at inlet and outlet, automatic air vent and sacrificial anode are fitted.
The fully wired unit stands on a trolley with puncture-proof wheels. It measures 500 × 520 × 1100 mm (height) and weighs 34 kg (KSM 9) or 40 kg (KSM 15) when empty.
