The CBC 600 at a glance
The CBC 600 threads metal pipes and bars with two rotating heads. One head is for 1/4″ to 2″ GAS or metric pitches from 1.5 to 5. The other head is for 2 1/2″ to 4″ GAS. A self-centering vice on cylindrical guides clamps the workpiece and feeds it coaxially into the die head. The vice stroke is 150 mm.
The 2-inch head turns at 29 rpm with a 76-millimeter bore, and the 4-inch head turns at 9 rpm with a 126-millimeter bore. A built-in gear pump lubricates the chasers, and the protective screen has a microswitch. The machine measures 1050 × 800 × 1250 mm and weighs 265 kg.
CBC lists six versions: three-phase 400 V or single-phase 230 V, each with two die heads and BSPT chasers (1–4"), two die heads without chasers, or one die head (1/4–2"). All versions come with a trolley and a protective screen.
