The OB/85SB at a glance
The CBC OB/85SB (CBC designation: OB85/SB) is a battery-powered hydraulic pipe bender: an 18 V / 2.0 Ah lithium battery drives the pump body of die-cast aluminium and stainless steel with its double hydraulic circuit. It bends annealed copper pipes up to 22 × 2.5 mm and multilayer pipes up to 32 × 3 mm.
The machine body can be rotated to suit any working situation, and the long piston stroke provides a wide working range. The formers and counterformers of the OB/85S also fit the OB/85SB. Each version comes complete with battery, charger and PVC carrying case.

With the Stargas kit, the OB/85SB is suitable for copper pipes with a special expanded polyethylene sheath for liquid or gaseous fuels up to 22 mm in diameter. The kit 0001045 extends it to multilayer pipes with diameters of 40 and 50 mm.
Standard versions of the OB/85SB
CBC labels the OB/85SB versions differently from the OB/85S versions. Versions E, F, and G are intended for multilayer pipes, while versions H and I cover 3/8" and 1/4"-7/8".

Bending capacity of the OB/85SB
The OB/85SB can handle up to 22 x 2.5 mm for annealed copper, which is thicker than the 22 x 1.5 mm capacity of the hand-operated OB/85S. It can bend multilayer pipes up to 32 x 3 mm.
