Bending formers for OB/85S, OB/85SB and P/22A
CBC manufactures these formers from die-cast aluminum. They fit the hand-operated OB/85S, the battery-powered OB/85SB, and the mechanical P/22A. According to CBC, the electro-hydraulic OB 2003 E and MC 2005 also use all OB/85S accessories.
Each former has a fixed bending radius corresponding to its diameter, ranging from R 31 mm for Ø 5 to 10 mm to R 114 mm for the Ø 32 mm multilayer former. Select the desired diameter and version; the table lists the code and radius of each former.
In addition to standard formers for annealed copper, CBC supplies formers for multilayer pipes (Ø 26 and 32 mm), coated pipes (Ø 28 mm), hydraulic pipes (Ø 16 and 17 mm), and coated copper pipes, such as Stargas and Stargas Extra. CBC also lists a special former (000640) for rigid coated pipes, available upon request.
