The UNI 63 with mandrel at a glance
The CBC UNI 63 with Mandrel Kit is a three-phase, digitally controlled machine designed for delicate, thin-walled pipes. Its optimum, constant radii ensure that the bent pipes remain free of deformation down to a minimum radius of twice the outside diameter. It is similar to the CBC UNI 30 SPEED in that it bends pipes with a mandrel.
A 1.5 HP (400 V) motor drives the machine, which is made of spheroidal cast iron and sits on a steel base frame. The multilingual touchscreen control stores up to 50 programs, each with nine bending angles. The mandrel kit includes a pipe clamping device, a mandrel extraction device, a plane regulator, stops, a base for the sliding counterformer with an anti-wrinkle support, and a 20 mm mandrel rod. Its length is 1 to 6 m. This defines the usable length. The usable length is 0.55 to 5.55 m.

Mandrel kit lengths of the UNI 63
All versions of the UNI 63 include the complete mandrel kit. The only difference is the length of the kit. The longer the kit, the farther from the pipe end a bend can be made.

Bending capacity of the UNI 63 with mandrel
The UNI 63 can bend hard and soft copper, as well as annealed brass, up to 35 x 3 mm; stainless steel AISI 304/316, up to 30 x 2 mm; and furniture tubes, up to 35 x 2 mm. It can also bend gas pipes up to 1".
Minimum bending radius: 2 × pipe outside diameter.
