The UNI 63 without mandrel at a glance
CBC builds the UNI 63 as a three-phase machine without a mandrel for standard radii. It is reliable and precise for pipes of all kinds, diameters, and wall thicknesses in plumbing, shipbuilding, oil hydraulics, industry, and general plant engineering. It can bend copper and aluminum pipes up to 54 mm, steel conduit up to 50 mm, and multilayer pipes up to 63 mm. For thin-walled pipes and tight radii, CBC offers the UNI 63 with a mandrel kit as a separate machine.
The 1.5 HP asynchronous motor runs on 400 V/50 Hz (other voltages available upon request) and features an electric brake. The multilingual touchscreen sets and checks the bending angle, compensates for springback, and stores up to 50 programs with nine consecutive angles each. The 120-kg machine is made of spheroidal cast iron and sits on a steel base. The quick guide positioning device and foot pedal are included in the standard version.
Two output shafts determine the range of radii: the square shaft (Ø 32, 544455), which is supplied with the machine, bends with standard radii; the optional reduced shaft (544454), which requires special formers and counterformers, bends below 30 mm. CBC also offers the UNI 63 with a swivel arm that supports long pipes at the proper height.

Bending capacity of the UNI 63 without mandrel
The UNI 63 can bend copper and aluminum pipes up to 54 mm, steel conduit up to 50 mm, and hydraulic, furniture, and boiler pipes up to 48 mm. It can also bend stainless steel AISI 304/316 up to 35 x 3 mm, gas pipes up to 1 1/2″, and multilayer pipes up to 63 mm with standard wall thickness. For walls of 2.5 mm or more, the pipe is bent with counter rollers instead of a counterformer.
