SSVH EKPI.A at a glance
The EKPI.A is a self-contained cylinder: the hand pump is built into the cylinder, so neither a hose nor a separate pump is needed. It pushes and pulls with equivalent force – 10, 25 or 50 tonnes at 850 bar – with a stroke of 120 or 150 mm, and the light-alloy body keeps the weight between 12 and 36 kg. SSVH names shipyards, civil engineering, boilermaking and industry in general as users, for welding and assembling heavy parts and for straightening work.
The patented two-speed pump switches automatically from fast approach to working speed, and a pressure limiter protects the cylinder. A quarter-turn valve reverses the direction, the pump lever can be removed and turned through 360°, and there is a port for a pressure gauge. The cylinder works in any position from horizontal to vertical, with the breather pointing upwards. A flat push head, a pulling ring or a female clevis can be fitted and removed. SSVH delivers the cylinders ready for use and filled with oil.
