The UNI 70/HC at a glance
The CBC UNI 70/HC is designed for mandrel bending. Large diameters and thin, delicate pipes maintain their cross-section because the mandrel supports the wall from the inside, ensuring optimum, constant bending radii down to twice the pipe diameter. It is ideal for plumbing, shipbuilding, oil hydraulics, industrial applications, and ornamental work.
The hydraulic system is at the core of the machine. A computerized hydraulic unit opens and closes the clamping and bending tools. The mandrel extraction is programmable for precise bending. A self-braking, two-speed, three-phase motor (2.3/3.1 kW, 380 V) drives the machine, which is made of spheroidal cast iron and sits on a steel base. The digital control panel has a display and can store up to 50 programs, each with up to nine sequential bending angles. The bending plane is set with a mechanical positioning spindle.
Each version includes a hydraulic mandrel extraction device, a plane regulator, stops, a base for a sliding counterformer with an anti-wrinkle support, and a 20 mm mandrel rod. The usable length is determined by the length of the mandrel kit (2 to 6 m). Tooling is made for each pipe size, including steel formers from 10 to 50.8 mm and corresponding inch sizes. Other tooling includes clamping jaws, counter rollers, sliding counterformers, anti-wrinkle dies, and fixed, articulated, and ball mandrels. We can provide tooling for your pipe.

Mandrel kit lengths of the UNI 70/HC
The five versions only differ in the length of the mandrel kit. The 2 m kit allows for bends up to 1.55 m from the pipe end, while the 6 m kit allows for bends up to 5.55 m.

Bending capacity of the UNI 70/HC with mandrel
The UNI 70/HC can process metal pipes up to 50 mm in diameter with a mandrel. It can process stainless steel pipes up to 50.8 mm and gas pipes up to 48 mm. The maximum wall thickness is 4 mm for aluminum, 3 mm for copper and hydraulic pipes, and 1.5 mm for stainless steel. Square tubes can be bent up to 40 x 40 x 3 mm.
Minimum bending radius: 2 × pipe outside diameter.
