The UNI 70/HC-OS at a glance
The CBC UNI 70/HC-OS is a UNI 70/HC equipped with a swivel kit, offering the ability to bend with or without a mandrel. With the mandrel, thin-walled and delicate pipes up to 50 mm in diameter can be bent down to a radius of twice their diameter. Without the mandrel, pipes up to 60 mm in diameter and square tubes up to 50 x 50 mm can be bent with standard radii of three to four times their diameter.
The machine comes with two additional interchangeable output shafts, which are needed for bending without a mandrel. When working with the mandrel, a computerized hydraulic system opens and closes the clamping and bending tools, and the mandrel is extracted under program control. The self-braking, two-speed, three-phase motor is 2.3/3.1 kW (380 V). The digital control stores up to 50 programs, each with up to nine angles. The spheroidal cast iron machine weighs 400 kg.
The 2- to 6-meter swivel kit includes a hydraulic mandrel extraction device, a plane regulator, stops, a base for the sliding counterformer with anti-wrinkle support, and a 20-millimeter mandrel rod. CBC refers to UNI 70/HC for tooling used with a mandrel and UNI 70/C for tooling without one. Tooling for your pipe size is available upon request.

Swivel kit lengths of the UNI 70/HC-OS
Choose the version based on the length of the swivel kit. The longer the kit, the farther from the pipe end you can bend it. With the 2 m kit, you can bend up to 1.55 m from the pipe end. With the 4 m kit, you can bend up to 3.55 m from the pipe end.

Capacity of the UNI 70/HC-OS with mandrel
Using a mandrel, metal pipes up to 50 mm in diameter can be bent. Stainless steel pipes can be up to 50.8 x 1.5 mm, gas pipes up to 48 mm, aluminum pipes up to 4 mm, and copper and hydraulic pipes up to 3 mm. Square tubes are 40 x 40 x 3 mm.
Minimum bending radius with mandrel: 2 x pipe outside diameter.

Capacity of the UNI 70/HC-OS without mandrel
All listed metal pipes can be bent up to 60 mm without a mandrel. The wall thickness is 8 mm for aluminum, 4 mm for copper, hydraulic, and boiler pipes, and 3 mm for stainless steel and furniture tubes. Gas pipes can be bent up to 60 mm with a standard wall. Square tubes can be bent up to 50 x 50 x 4 mm.
