The CBC 392-N at a glance
The CBC 392-N cuts threads on metal pipes and solid bars ranging from 1/4″ to 2″ GAS. It is equipped with a rotating head and a self-centering vise that clamps the pipe or bar. The vice slides on cylindrical guides and feeds the workpiece coaxially into the die head. Its stroke is 170 mm.
The lubrication and cooling systems operate in a closed circuit. The built-in tank has a double filter for the coolant-lubricant. The machine is fitted with a control panel and a protective screen. The die head has a 70 mm bore and turns at 25 rpm in first gear.
CBC supplies the 392-N with either a three-phase motor (400 V, two speeds) or a single-phase motor (230 V, one speed). Special motors are available upon request. The machine stands on its own 950-mm-high stand and weighs 95 kg. Complete versions include BSPT chasers for 1/2″–3/4″ and 1″–2″.
