The UNI 42 at a glance
The CBC UNI 42 family is a compact, mobile, and powerful solution for precise pipe bending in workshops, on job sites, and for on-site work. Its robust aluminum body and precise bending mechanics ensure consistent bending radii and clean bends. This is true even with larger pipe diameters, thin-walled tubes, and delicate materials.
The UNI 42 is available in three versions: mechanical, electric, and digital-electric. Choose the configuration that matches your required degree of automation, repeatability, and production control.
UNI 42 – Mechanical Version

The lightweight, reliable UNI 42 mechanical pipe bending machine is ideal for users who need a robust, easy-to-handle solution without an electric drive. Its hardened steel gears, which run on ball bearings, ensure smooth operation, high mechanical strength, and precise bends. A return device brings the operating lever back after each bend. Its compact size and light weight make it ideal for mobile use, repairs, small workshops, and changing installation tasks. It comes with a folding stand for comfortable operation and easy transport.
UNI 42 A – Electric Version

The electric UNI 42 A is designed for users who need more power, greater comfort, and consistent bending results. It is equipped with an asynchronous motor, low-voltage control electronics (24 V), a bending angle regulator, an electric brake, and an automatic return feature that activates at the end of the stroke. These features allow for accurate, repeatable bends with minimal physical effort, making it ideal for professional applications where clean results, dimensional accuracy, and reliable operation are essential. A positioning ring makes setting the desired bending angle easy.
UNI 42 A Digital-Electric Version

For even higher repeatability and programmable bending sequences, the digital UNI 42 A features a touchscreen control unit with a multilingual microprocessor that can be used to set, control, and recall the bending angle. The UNI 42 A stores nine bending programs, each with up to nine sequential bending angles, making it ideal for recurring bending tasks, small-series production, and more complex pipe geometries.

All versions of the UNI 42 bend pipes and tubes with an optimal, consistent bending radius while minimizing deformation. With a maximum bending angle of 180°, the UNI 42 is ideal for a variety of metalworking, plumbing, heating, hydraulic installation, industrial maintenance, machine building, and assembly applications.
Bending capacity of the UNI 42
The UNI 42 can bend copper, hydraulic steel, and boiler pipes with an outside diameter of up to 42 mm, as well as multilayer pipes with an outside diameter of up to 50 mm, without a mandrel. It can bend stainless steel pipes AISI 304/316 up to 30 mm with a 2 mm wall thickness and steel pipes for electrical installations up to 40 mm. The table lists the maximum values for each pipe material. For furniture tubes, the permissible wall thickness depends on the version.
The maximum bending angle is 180°.
The standard bending radii are 3D and 4D (3 × and 4 × the pipe outside diameter).
