The EUROPRESS 98/B at a glance
The CBC EUROPRESS 98/B can make press fitting joints without a power cord. An 18-volt lithium battery with a 2.0-ampere-hour capacity drives the hydraulic pump in the aluminum body. According to CBC, the battery lasts for about 140 pressings per charge. The battery and charger are included with every version.
The automatic press uses the same jaws as the EUROPRESS 2001, and CBC states that other available jaws fit it as well. The hardened steel jaws sit in a jaw head that rotates through 360° and are secured by a new locking pin. The machine weighs 6.3 kg.
Standard sets include the machine, the 008586 battery, the 008585 charger, three jaws of one profile, the EP-Control, and the 010098.1 PVC case. Without jaws, the machine is available with or without the case.

The 98/B sets correspond to the EUROPRESS 2001 sets; each 98/B set also includes a battery and charger. CBC does not assign a specific designation or weight to the SV sets 15-18-22 and 15-18-28.
