The OB/85S at a glance
The CBC OB/85S is a compact, hand-operated hydraulic pipe bender designed for installers. It is easy to handle yet powerful enough to bend annealed copper pipes up to 22 mm and multilayer pipes up to 32 mm with minimal effort. Its die-cast aluminum and stainless steel pump body with a double hydraulic circuit weighs just 2.3 kg.
The particularly long piston stroke provides a wide working range, and the pump lever can be adjusted to the size of the operator's hand. The die-cast aluminum formers work with steel counterformers that snap on with a simple press — no screws or bolts necessary. The nine standard versions (A–I) differ in the formers, counterformers, and carrying case supplied.

CBC supplies kits for special tasks, including one for crossover bends in multilayer pipes ranging from 16 to 26 mm in diameter and another for multilayer pipes with diameters of 40 and 50 mm. Copper pipes with a polyethylene sheath for fuel and gas lines up to 22 mm in diameter, such as Stargas® pipes, are bent using the SG version from the table below.
Standard versions of the OB/85S
Each version comes with a hydraulic pump body and a carrying case. The 14–17 counterformer fits the 10- and 12-mm formers. Thus, version B bends the same diameters as version A, but with one fewer counterformer. Versions G, H, and I are equipped for multilayer pipes. Version SG has special formers and counterformers for Stargas® pipes by Zetaesse.

Bending capacity of the OB/85S
The OB/85S is designed for annealed copper pipes up to 22 x 1.5 mm and multilayer pipes up to 32 x 3 mm. For multilayer pipes, versions G, H, and I, which have counterformers 16, 20, 26, and 32, are the right choice.
