CBC uses counterformers to bend thin-walled pipes with formers of types A, B, C, E, L, and H.

Most counterformers cover a range of diameters. For example, some cover 16–18 mm or 5/8–3/4". They are made of brass; the larger sizes are made of bronze. For some sizes, CBC makes separate counterformers for the UNI 42, as well as for the UNI 60 and UNI 70/C. Counterformers and counter rollers for the UNI 60 also fit the UNI 60 COMBI-CAL.

For pipes with walls over 2.5 mm, counter rollers replace the counterformer (formers of types C, E, L, H, and G). For the UNI 42, CBC uses single rollers for pipes up to 1 1/4″ GAS and corresponding mm sizes. The twin roller guide has two rollers that match the pipe diameter and prevent the outside of the pipe from flattening. CBC supplies this guide for each machine.

Special counterformers for the reduced shaft of the UNI 60 AI and UNI 63 with a mandrel kit (formerly the UNI 30 SPEED) have the same codes as the FLEX 22 counterformers and are listed with them.

The UNI 120 bends 4″ gas pipes, and CBC lists the bronze counterformer CF120BG4 for them in the gas pipe table below. Further bronze counterformers and counter rollers for the UNI 120 are available upon request.
