Tight radii with the reduced shaft
For standard radii, the UNI machines with interchangeable output shaft work with the Ø 32 mm square shaft 544455. When pipes are to be bent with radii below 30 mm, the reduced interchangeable shaft 544454 replaces it. It is used together with special formers and counterformers for the reduced shaft.
CBC supplies these formers with a ring, one per size, for pipes from Ø 6 to Ø 20 mm and the corresponding inch sizes. The shaft is intended for the UNI 60 with interchangeable shaft, the UNI 60 COMBI and the UNI 63; on the UNI 63 it is an option.
For the UNI 70/C and UNI 70/HC, the CBC price list contains a reduced shaft of its own (544500); CBC gives no further technical details for it.
