The Mod. 97 adapter at a glance

The CBC Mod. 97 is an adapter for threading metal pipes from 2″1/2 to 4″ gas. It is mounted with special supports on the portable 114 MINI and F2-E and on the 352, 220 and 230 threading machines; CBC also names the portable 202. This extends the range of these machines to 4″.

The Mod. 97/RAP differs from the Mod. 97 in one point: at the end of the thread, it is released with a simple operation and the head is brought back to the starting position. CBC builds a separate version of the adapter for each machine group, with BSPT or NPT threads; the 97/RAP is listed in BSPT. The supports are also available individually.
