CBC die heads at a glance
The die head holds the chasers of a threading machine. CBC supplies two designs: self-opening die heads, which open automatically, and manual opening die heads. For left-hand threads, CBC offers separate left-hand die heads.
Each machine has its own heads: the 352 is available with a self-opening or a manual opening head; the 220 and 230 share their standard head and the left-hand head, the 230 adds a head for 2″1/2–3″. The 440 and the 600 each work with a pair of heads up to 2″ and from 2″1/2 to 4″, the 620/E with one head for 2″–6″. The 392-N and 392-L use the same heads.
